Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha, Lucknow University, Pays Tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on His Birth Anniversary

Lucknow: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and Bharat Ratna awardee, the Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha – Lucknow University unit organized a tribute ceremony at the university’s Gaurav Sthal on Monday.

The members offered floral tributes to Dr. Ambedkar’s statue, remembering his contributions and reaffirming their commitment to walk the path he laid down for social justice and equality. The program was conducted under the leadership of Unit General Secretary Rajat Agrahari.

Abhishek Srivastava, National Secretary of Lohia Vahini and a research scholar at the university, administered an oath to all present, pledging to uphold Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals.

Speaking on the occasion, Akshay Yadav, State Secretary of Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha, reflected on Dr. Ambedkar’s mission and its relevance in contemporary times.

The event saw the participation of several student leaders and members including Unit Vice President Aditya Pandey, Kartik Yadav, Rohit Yadav, Dharmendra Saurabh Tiwari, Manish Singh, Rudra Veer, Akshat Pandey, Prabhat Raj, Nitish Yadav, Rohit, Vishal, Suryansh, Niketan, Abhishek, Abhinav, Raj, and Nav Tej Yadav among others.

The gathering concluded with a collective pledge to carry forward Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy through education, awareness, and activism.
